Yeşil bir gelecek ve bilinçli nesiller için sorumluluk alarak çalışmalar yürüten Kuveyt Türk, Türkiye İzcilik Federasyonu’nun deprem bölgesinde yaşayan öğrencilere yönelik İstanbul Beykoz’da düzenlediği “Asrın Dayanışması Yaz İzci Kampı’na destek verdi.
Yaşları 10-15 arasında değişen depremzede öğrenciler, izcilik kampında oryantiring, okçuluk, atıcılık, doğa yürüyüşü, hazine avı, tırmanma gibi izcilik oyun ve eğitimleri aldı, düzenlenen gezilerle İstanbul'un tarihî ve kültürel alanlarını görme ve inceleme fırsatını elde etti.
İzciler, Çevre Kuruluşları Dayanışma Derneği’nin (ÇEKUD) izcilik kampına özel geliştirdiği ve koordinasyonunu yürüttüğü “Tohumdan Fidana: 81 İle 81 Bin Tohum Topu” etkinliği kapsamında, deprem sonrası ülkece gösterilen dayanışmaya teşekkür etmek amacıyla tohum topları üretti.
İzcilik kampında kurutulan tohum topları, her bir ilimize 1.000 adet olacak şeklinde ülkemizin tüm şehirlerine gönderilmek üzere kutulara yerleştirildi.
Tohum topları, 11 Kasım Milli Ağaçlandırma Günü faaliyetleri kapsamında izcilerin, çevre gönüllülerinin ve Kuveyt Türk çalışanlarının katılımıyla tüm Türkiye’de aynı anda doğayla buluşturulacak.
