İsrail Savunma Kuvvetleri’nin (IDF) dün sabah saatlerinde baskın gerçekleştirdiği Gazze Şeridi’nin en büyük ve merkez hastanesi olan Şifa Hastanesi’nde insanlık dramı yaşanıyor. Şifa Hastanesi Direktörü Muhammet Abu Salmiya, Katar merkezli El Cezire televizyonuna yaptığı açıklamada, İsrail ordusunun baskınının devam ettiğini, hastanedeki durumun ise “felaket” olduğunu belirtti. Salmiya, “İsrail ordusu tüm cesetleri aldı ve tüm binaları aradı. Acil serviste İsrail askerleri vardı ve acil servisin önünde yatan tüm cesetleri aldılar. Onları nereye götürdüklerine dair hiçbir fikrimiz yok. İsrail güçleri radyoloji, doğum servisi, yanık bölümü ve acil servisin ana girişinde toplanmış durumda” ifadelerini kullandı.
Hastanenin üzerinde sürekli dron uçurulduğunu aktaran Salmiya, “Özel ameliyathane binasını genel ameliyathane binasına bağlayan köprüyü hedef alıyorlar” dedi. Salmiya, “Hastanede 650 hastamız var. Hastanemizde 500’den fazla sağlık personelimiz ve 5 binden fazla yerinden edilmiş sivil var” bilgilerini paylaştı.

Salmiya ayrıca, İsrail ordusunun hastanede Hamas’ın komuta merkezi bulunduğuna dair iddiasını da yalanlayarak, “İsrail ordusunun iddiaları asılsızdır ve hastanenin içinden İsrail askerlerine ateş açılmamıştır. Hastaları yalnız bırakmayacağız, birlikte yaşayıp birlikte öleceğiz. Su sıkıntısı işimizi zorlaştırıyor ama hayatta kalmak için elimizden geleni yapacağız. İsrail ordusu su hattını bombaladı.
